Main responsibilities:
- Prepare and ensure the accuracy of title documents for vehicles being purchased, sold, or transferred.
- Verify the authenticity of titles, including checking for liens, ownership, and any discrepancies.
- Coordinate with relevant departments (e.g., sales, logistics, legal) to collect and manage all necessary documentation associated with titles.
- Oversee import/export operations, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and local laws.
- Booking Documentation process
- Directly working with Vessel lines
- Making documents’ receipts
- Billing of loadings
- Ensure all title documentation complies with local, state, and federal regulations and laws.
- Process title applications and transfers, including submitting necessary forms to the appropriate government bodies.
- Negotiate contracts with transportation providers and warehouse operators to secure favorable terms.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding title status, requirements, and any issues that may arise during the process.
- Maintain organized records of all title documents, transactions, and communications for future reference and auditing purposes.
- Address and resolve any issues related to titles, including lost titles, discrepancies in documentation, and delays.
Requirements
- A degree in business, logistics, or a related field may be preferred
- Minimum 3 years of prior experience in title handling, legal documentation, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures, import/export regulations, and international freight operations.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation.
- Familiarity with local and state title regulations and procedures.
- Ability to address and resolve issues efficiently.
- Strong organizational capabilities to manage multiple titles and documents simultaneously.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients and authorities.
- Experience with ERP systems and logistics management software is preferred;
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook);
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Working conditions:
- Location: Baku city
- Sector: International Logistics of Containers from Country to Country
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5 working days per week;
