Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Procurement: Lead the sourcing of oilfield equipment, tools, and supplies to meet operational demands and business goals.
  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain relationships with key vendors, negotiate contracts, and drive supplier performance improvements.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor a team of buyers, ensuring effective collaboration and achievement of departmental objectives.
  • Inventory Control: Collaborate with inventory and warehouse teams to manage stock levels, reduce excess inventory, and avoid shortages.
  • Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining quality and timeliness of procurement.
  • Market Insights: Analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier developments to ensure the company remains competitive in sourcing.
  • Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles, preferably within the oilfield or energy sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of oilfield equipment, tools, and supplies.
  • MS Office programs knowledge
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, manage budgets, and drive cost efficiencies.
  • Fluency in Azerbaijani, English and Russian languages 
  • Working experience as a Sales and Tender Specialist;
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Ability to work as part of a team.

Conditions:

  • Schedule: Full-time work, Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00.
