Key Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement: Lead the sourcing of oilfield equipment, tools, and supplies to meet operational demands and business goals.
Supplier Management: Build and maintain relationships with key vendors, negotiate contracts, and drive supplier performance improvements.
Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor a team of buyers, ensuring effective collaboration and achievement of departmental objectives.
Inventory Control: Collaborate with inventory and warehouse teams to manage stock levels, reduce excess inventory, and avoid shortages.
Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining quality and timeliness of procurement.
Market Insights: Analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier developments to ensure the company remains competitive in sourcing.
Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
At least 2-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles, preferably within the oilfield or energy sector.
In-depth knowledge of oilfield equipment, tools, and supplies.
MS Office programs knowledge
Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software
Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to analyze data, manage budgets, and drive cost efficiencies.
Fluency in Azerbaijani, English and Russian languages
Working experience as a Sales and Tender Specialist;
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team.
