Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Procurement: Lead the sourcing of oilfield equipment, tools, and supplies to meet operational demands and business goals.
- Supplier Management: Build and maintain relationships with key vendors, negotiate contracts, and drive supplier performance improvements.
- Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor a team of buyers, ensuring effective collaboration and achievement of departmental objectives.
- Inventory Control: Collaborate with inventory and warehouse teams to manage stock levels, reduce excess inventory, and avoid shortages.
- Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining quality and timeliness of procurement.
- Market Insights: Analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier developments to ensure the company remains competitive in sourcing.
- Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- At least 2-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles, preferably within the oilfield or energy sector.
- In-depth knowledge of oilfield equipment, tools, and supplies.
- MS Office programs knowledge
- Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze data, manage budgets, and drive cost efficiencies.
- Fluency in Azerbaijani, English and Russian languages
- Working experience as a Sales and Tender Specialist;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team.
Conditions:
- Schedule: Full-time work, Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00.
