Principal function (job summary)
- The Laboratory OCM specialist is responsible for the operation of the OCM section, ensuring that the facility is operated and maintained to ASTM, IP, GOST, API standards and is carried out in accordance with company’s QA/HSE/ Compliance policies.
Major duties and responsibility areas
- Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, and the environment.
- Conduct to ASTM, IP, GOST, API standards, all necessary lube oil analysis.
- Data analytics and drill down
- Diagnostics and interpretation of results - normal, caution and warning
- Exporting of data and trend
- Solving of the any problems concerning the lube oil quality
- Contact with the clients, keeping of all correspondence in co-operation.
- Supervision over OCM section keeping clean and tidy.
- Supervision over OCM section working, testing, reporting, keeping job-book.
- In co-operation with administration department prepare of the purchasing lists.
- In co-operation with administration keep correspondence, reports, and contracts with third parties, subcontractors.
- Prepare annual Accreditation documents.
- Complies with the requirements of the applicable ISO 17025 standard.
- Identifies deviations from procedures and provides necessary resources to minimize such deviations by early detection.
- Ensures appropriate evaluation of test or calibration results based on the method, procedure and calibration used.
- Detailed competence is reflected in form 006-CB-LAb
Qualifications and experience required
Education
- University graduation according to his job profile
Professional Qualifications
- Technical (Engineering, Oil & Gas, Metrology, Machinery, Ecology, Chemistry) or equivalent
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a petrochemical analytical laboratory.
