About the Role
- A dynamic trade company (team of up to 7 people) is looking for a Chief Accountant — the sole finance professional in the company. The role covers full accounting cycle, reporting, tax compliance, and financial management.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records in 1C.
- Handle payments, bank reconciliations, and tax declarations.
- Prepare financial statements and management reports.
- Coordinate with auditors and government authorities.
- Manage cash flow and budgets in coordination with HQ.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Chief Accountant (trading experience preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
- PMS certificate – mandatory.
- Excellent knowledge of Azerbaijani tax and accounting laws.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
- Knowledge of IFRS and 1C software is an advantage.
