Position Overview:
- A leading industrial group is seeking a Chief Analyst to join its Finance Department. The selected candidate will provide analytical and financial support to management and the CFO business line, focusing on monitoring financial and banking markets, preparing analytical reports, and contributing to the company’s financing and budgeting strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial and market analysis to support strategic and operational decisions
- Prepare analytical reports, presentations, and management notes on company performance
- Coordinate information exchange between departments and external stakeholders (banks, auditors, financial institutions)
- Monitor and report on the company’s debt and financial instruments
- Support the development and implementation of the company’s financing strategy
- Assist in the preparation of IFRS reports and analytical materials
- Participate in financial deal execution (debt and non-debt financing, hedging, insurance)
Requirements:
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (CFA/FRM is an advantage)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in banking, audit, or large industrial/financial groups
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis, corporate finance, IFRS, and financial modelling
- Excellent analytical and presentation skills
- High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Fluent in English and Azerbaijani (Russian is a plus)
