On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Commercial Director
Salary: 7,000–10,000 AZN (Net)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company's commercial strategy
- Oversee revenue and cost planning for construction projects
- Lead the preparation and submission of tender documents
- Supervise the development of budgets, cost estimates, and pricing proposals
- Conduct profitability, ROI, and financial performance analyses
- Lead contract negotiations with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and minimize legal and commercial risks
- Monitor execution of project obligations and payment schedules
- Manage project financials and oversee cost-control processes
- Evaluate commercial risks and develop mitigation plans
- Ensure effective coordination with finance, legal, and project teams
- Manage, coach, and evaluate the performance of the commercial team
Requirements
- Higher education in Economics, Finance, Engineering, or Construction
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial management or related fields
- Strong knowledge of tender processes, contract management, and project financial control
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills
- Strong leadership and team-management abilities
