An international renewable energy project is looking for an Electrical Technician to support electrical maintenance and operational activities at a large-scale wind power plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive electrical maintenance of plant equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in transformers, motors, relays, switches, and control systems
- Carry out installation, repair, and testing of electrical equipment
- Support operation of low, medium, and high voltage systems including substations
- Monitor equipment condition and report technical issues
- Maintain maintenance logs and technical documentation
- Coordinate with engineers and contractors during maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with HSE and operational procedures
Requirements
- Technical certificate or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance in an industrial or power plant environment
- Experience with electrical installations, troubleshooting, and repair
- Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and electrical drawings
- Knowledge of high-voltage equipment and safety procedures is an advantage
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- English language proficiency
