Job Description:

An international company is looking for an experienced Finance Manager / Chief Accountant to lead the finance function and ensure full compliance with accounting, tax, and reporting standards.

Location: Baku

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the finance & accounting function
• Oversee general ledger and high-level accounting
• Ensure full tax compliance (VAT, CIT, WHT, filings)
• Manage month-end and year-end closing
• Prepare management accounts and financial reports
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Manage banking relations, audits, and communication with tax authorities
• Implement internal controls and financial procedures

Requirements:

• Higher education in Finance or Accounting
• Strong experience in accounting, taxation, and reporting
• Experience in an international corporate environment
• Excellent English communication skills
• Strong analytical and leadership abilities
• Ability to manage processes and deadlines
• PMS Certification — mandatory
