Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Procurement to lead and manage the full procurement function of a large-scale, project-driven organization.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for procurement strategy development, supplier management, tendering processes, contract governance, and commercial risk management across complex, high-value projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategy aligned with corporate objectives
- Oversee end-to-end procurement cycle (RFI/RFP, bid evaluation, negotiation, contract award)
- Lead complex international tenders (EPC/EPCI, services, equipment supply)
- Manage contract strategy, variation orders, and claims administration
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with local and international suppliers
- Control procurement budget and support cost optimization initiatives
- Lead and develop procurement and contracts team
- Provide regular reporting to senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in procurement and contract management
- At least 5 years in senior leadership position
- Strong experience in project-based environments (energy, construction, infrastructure preferred)
- Extensive experience in international tendering and high-value negotiations
- Strong knowledge of procurement legislation and contract governance
- Experience with ERP/procurement systems (SAP, Ariba or similar)
- Fluent English (mandatory)
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills
