Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Head of Risk Function to join a leading company in the insurance/reinsurance sector.

The successful candidate will support senior management in developing and strengthening the company’s risk management framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and enhance the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework
• Implement and monitor the Risk Appetite Statement (RAS)
• Oversee capital modeling in line with Solvency II requirements
• Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis
• Prepare and present regular risk reports to senior management and Board
• Lead ORSA processes and forward-looking risk assessments
• Manage communication with regulators and rating agencies
• Develop and maintain internal risk policies and frameworks
• Collaborate with actuarial, finance, underwriting, and IT teams

Identify, assess, and monitor key risks:

• Underwriting risks (premium, reserve, catastrophe)
• Market risks (FX, interest rate, spread)
• Credit risks (counterparty default)
• Operational and liquidity risks

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in risk management, actuarial, audit, or finance roles
• Strong knowledge of Solvency II and IFRS 17
• Experience in stress testing, scenario analysis, and risk reporting
• Background in insurance/reinsurance is an advantage
• Professional certifications (e.g., FRM, actuarial) are a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Leadership skills and ability to manage a team
