We are looking for an experienced Hydraulics Engineer to support the design, analysis, and integration of hydraulic systems for a large industrial project.
The role involves participation across the full project lifecycle — including design, system calculations, installation, and commissioning phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hydraulic calculations (pipelines, pumps, pressure drop, utility systems)
- Support development and optimization of hydraulic systems and models
- Assist in pump and compressor sizing and equipment selection
- Review vendor documentation and ensure compliance with project requirements
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, C&I, and Process teams
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning of hydraulic systems
- Monitor installation quality and ensure compliance with standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve hydraulic system issues
- Participate in inspection and acceptance of hydraulic equipment
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 5–8 years of experience in hydraulic systems (design and commissioning)
- Experience working with hydraulic equipment, drives, and utility systems
- Knowledge of hydraulic modeling tools (AFT Fathom, PipeFlow or similar)
- Strong understanding of pump curves, NPSH, and fluid dynamics
- Experience in industrial / metallurgy projects is an advantage
- MS Office proficiency
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
- Azerbaijani language – required
- English and/or Russian – preferred
