An international renewable energy project is seeking a SCADA Operator to support the real-time monitoring and operation of a Wind Power Plant from the Control Room.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Wind Turbine Generators, substation systems, and plant performance via SCADA
- Track alarms, turbine stoppages, and operational events in the SCADA log
- Prepare daily, weekly, and forecast generation reports
- Monitor plant equipment, sensors, and communication systems
- Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure stable plant performance
- Follow grid operator instructions and plant operational procedures
- Maintain operational documentation and shift handover logs
- Ensure compliance with safety, operational, and cybersecurity procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 2–3 years of experience in SCADA monitoring, wind energy, or power plant operations
- Experience with remote monitoring and control systems (SCADA)
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and electrical diagrams
- Strong reporting and documentation skills
- Good English communication skills
- Knowledge of high-voltage equipment operations is an advantage
