About the Role
- An international company is looking for a Senior Legal Specialist (In-House Lawyer) to support corporate legal operations and international expansion activities. The role involves coordination with local legal representatives across different markets and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal support for company expansion, market entry and branch establishment
- Monitor and ensure compliance with local laws and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions
- Advise management on corporate governance, licensing and compliance matters
- Identify and mitigate legal risks related to company operations and growth
- Draft, review and negotiate legal documents including investment agreements and shareholder agreements
- Support legal due diligence for partnerships, fundraising and strategic initiatives
- Coordinate with external legal advisors and regulatory bodies in different countries
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate law
- Experience with international companies, investment structures or startup ecosystems is an advantage
- Experience working with external counsel and regulatory authorities
- Strong legal drafting, analytical and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and international environment
- Fluent Azerbaijani and English, Russian is a strong advantage
