On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Waste Management Specialist
Requirements:
- Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Preferable offshore (oil and gas) experience, 1-2 years and 2-4 years.
- Preferable knowledge regarding drilling rig types, rig components, drilling operations etc.
- Preferable knowledge regarding the drilling fluid system
- Experience in working with equipment, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of equipment. Preferrable operating with ES equipment
- Technical skills, mechanical experience mainly in operation (70%) and maintenance (30%)
- Preferable in any of Waste Management/Solids Control/Cuttings Re Injection fields
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize waste management operations.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities for effective coordination at the rig site.
- Intermediate English speaker.
- Minor computer skills
- Ability to identify process improvements and drive operational efficiency.
Main scope:
- Operate ES equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment as needed.
- Adhere to company QHSE Management system and client policies & procedures.
- Assist ES site supervisor on operations
- Monitor equipment system performance, providing rig teams with recommendations for improvement and troubleshooting.
- Generate technical recommendations for process improvements and future operations.
- Implement and improve the Company System of Work (SOW) and Client initiatives related to cost tracking, logistics, and QHSE.
