Overview:
- This position is open to citizens of Azerbaijan due to local hiring regulations
- Location: International Offshore Project (Exact location provided during selection)
- Position Type: Contract/Rotational
- Start Date: Immediate / As soon as possible
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform coded welding tasks (SMAW, GTAW, MIG/MAG) on offshore structures, piping systems, and components
- Work according to welding procedures and project specifications (ASME, AWS, EN ISO standards)
- Ensure high-quality welds in challenging offshore conditions
- Adhere strictly to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) protocols
- Participate in pre-job briefings, inspections, and quality control measures
- Collaborate effectively with multinational teams
Requirements:
- Language Requirement: Good command of English (spoken and written)
- Valid Coded Welding Certification (e.g., 6G, 6GR, or equivalent)
- Minimum 5-10 years of recent offshore welding experience
- Up-to-date offshore survival (BOSIET/FOET), medical certificate, and other relevant safety training
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding procedures
- Willingness to work in a rotational schedule (e.g., 4/4 or 6/2 weeks)
