Job responsibilities

• Supervise, Advise, check drawings and liaise with the Piping Discipline Design Team to ensure all design drawings and documents clearly reflect the agreed design philosophy and international standards / specification.
• Be able to mark up changes in P&IDs, check drawings against P&IDs, Plot Plans and layout drawings.
• Prepare calculations for piping design, line sizing, wall thickness calculations, pump selection calculations. Stress analysis and vessel design will be advantageous.
• Develop the specification and design of engineering projects from initial concept through detail design, construction/installation and final close-out.
• Prepare all necessary design reports and workpacks throughout the design development phase.
• Advise and liaise with the Planning Engineers in the preparation of project plans for all design and installation phases.
• Ensure all project related equipment and materials are correctly specified and all necessary procurement documentation is produced.

Essential Qualification and Experience

• Degree qualified / or good recognized qualification with 10 years’ experience
