Job responsibilities:
- Cable Tray Installation
- Measure, cut, and install cable trays, conduits, and support systems according to project specifications.
- Secure cable trays to walls, ceilings, or other surfaces using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Ensure all installations comply with electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Cable Management
- Lay and organize cables within trays, ensuring proper alignment and spacing to prevent tangling or damage.
- Secure cables using straps, ties, or other fastening methods.
- Label and organize cables for easy identification and maintenance.
Inspection and Testing:
- Inspect cable trays and cables for wear, corrosion, or damage.
- Conduct continuity and functionality tests on electrical systems after installation.
- Ensure all components meet project and safety standards.
Qualification:
- High school diploma or equivalent (mandatory).
- Vocational or technical training in electrical work (preferred).
- Proven experience in electrical installations, specifically cable tray systems (2-5 years preferred).
- Familiarity with installing and managing cables in industrial, commercial, or residential settings.
