Job Responsibilities
- Supervise offshore construction, fabrication, installation, maintenance, or commissioning activities in accordance with project requirements and safety standards.
- Ensure all offshore operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and coordinate offshore personnel including technicians, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Conduct daily toolbox talks, safety briefings, and risk assessments prior to work execution.
- Monitor work progress to ensure activities are completed within approved schedules and project specifications.
- Coordinate offshore activities with onshore engineering, construction, and project management teams.
- Review and implement Method Statements, Work Packs, Job Cards, and Permit to Work systems.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, offshore safety rules, and industry standards.
- Monitor equipment usage, manpower allocation, and material availability offshore.
- Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions to prevent delays or incidents.
- Prepare daily progress reports, incident reports, and operational updates for management.
- Support offshore inspections, audits, and client interface activities.
- Ensure quality control requirements are followed during installation and fabrication works.
- Participate in emergency response activities and ensure crew readiness.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 5–10 years offshore experience in Oil & Gas, Marine, or Offshore Construction projects.
- Previous experience as Offshore Supervisor, Construction Supervisor, or similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of offshore safety standards and Permit to Work systems.
- Experience supervising fabrication, piping, structural, mechanical, or installation activities.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, isometrics, and technical documentation.
- Experience working with multinational teams and offshore environments.
- Offshore certifications typically required:
- BOSIET / FOET
- HUET
- Offshore Medical Certificate
- H2S Awareness
- Permit to Work / LOTO knowledge
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
