We are currently looking for an experienced QA/QC Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage QA/QC activities for mechanical, fabrication, welding, painting, and engineering works in compliance with company and project requirements.
• Develop and implement Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), QA/QC procedures, method statements, and work instructions.
• Review and approve fabrication and welding specifications during tender and project execution stages.
• Review project specifications related to welding processes, materials, heat treatment, NDE, and coating requirements.
• Develop and select Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) for various materials.
• Qualify welders and provide technical guidance related to welding activities.
• Monitor subcontractor fabrication and welding activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Generate inspection reports and QA/QC documentation related to fabrication and welding works.
• Carry out site visits and inspections to ensure activities are performed in accordance with company procedures and applicable standards.
• Manage fabrication, construction, and QA/QC documentation packages.
• Ensure implementation of HSE policies and company procedures.
• Participate in meetings, technical clarifications, audits, and customer discussions when required.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and corrective/preventive actions.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and applicable international standards and codes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Welding, Metallurgical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong experience in QA/QC management within oil & gas, fabrication, or construction projects.
• Good knowledge of welding processes, fabrication, painting/coating, NDE, and inspection activities.
• Familiarity with international standards and codes such as ASME, AWS, ASTM, ISO, BS, EEMUA, etc.
• Experience in preparation of QA/QC procedures, ITPs, welding documentation, and quality dossiers.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred

• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or related QA/QC certifications.
• CSWIP, BGAS, NACE, or equivalent certifications would be an advantage.
