Job responsibilities:

• Assemble, install, and secure rigging equipment such as pulleys, ropes, winches, and hoists.
• Inspect and ensure all rigging tools and equipment are in proper working condition.
• Attach loads to rigging and prepare them for lifting.
• Direct crane operators and other equipment operators to move heavy materials safely.
• Balance and secure loads to prevent shifting, slipping, or accidents during transportation.
• Conduct routine inspections of rigging equipment to identify and address wear or damage.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards for rigging and lifting activities.
• Follow strict safety protocols and guidelines while working with heavy loads and equipment.
• Ensure that rigging operations comply with site-specific and industry safety standards.
• Report and address hazards or unsafe conditions immediately.

Qualification:

• High school diploma or equivalent (minimum).
• Vocational training or certification in rigging or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in rigging, lifting, or a related field (e.g., construction, heavy equipment handling, or manufacturing).
• Familiarity with different types of rigging equipment, machinery, and tools.
