Key requirements:

• University degree or equivalent
• Minimum intermediate level of English
• Teaching experience in Secondary Years education is preferable
• Strong knowledge and/or experience and/or enthusiasm to teach in the IB MYP/DP curriculum framework
• Be interculturally aware with well-developed interpersonal skills
• Be committed to ensuring high standards of teaching and learning
• Be collaborative and able to work as part of a team

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Discuss and help decide how identified needs will be addressed
• Implement strategies and support learners in self-esteem and confidence-building activities
• Monitor attendance and punctuality of learners
• Maintain accurate records and prepare written reports and evaluations
• Prepare the classroom for class activities.
• Advise students individually and/or with groups regarding academic core and/or departmental requirements, appropriate class selection, academic policies and procedures, and campus resources.
