We are currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Invoicing Clerk to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates in business, finance, or related fields who are eager to start their professional journey in a structured and supportive environment.
Location: Baku, Azerbaijan
Salary: 700 AZN
Schedule: Full-time
Experience: No prior work experience required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue accurate sales invoices based on completed services or deliveries.
  • Collect and verify supporting documents such as contracts, delivery notes, and service records to ensure correct billing.
  • Ensure that all issued invoices comply with company policies and local tax regulations.
  • Register and manage Local Tax Invoices in the Online Tax System, ensuring all data is accurate and updated.
  • Monitor the status of Local Tax Invoices and follow up with customers for timely confirmations.
  • Check data entered in the accounting system to ensure correctness and consistency.
  • Respond to client inquiries and resolve any questions or discrepancies regarding invoices.
  • Generate and provide regular invoicing summary reports for clients and internal finance use.
  • Assist in month-end closing by ensuring timely invoice processing and documentation.
  • Maintain well-organized records of all issued invoices and related documents.
  • Work closely with operators, accountants, and other internal departments to gather necessary data and support accurate billing.
  • Report to the Line Manager on activities, outstanding issues, and opportunities for process improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • No prior experience required (internships or relevant projects are a plus)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
  • Fluency in Azerbaijani and English (Russian is a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, responsible, and eager to learn
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
