LV Logistics is seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Operations Assistant to support daily logistics operations and ensure timely, accurate, and compliant handling of shipments. The role requires close coordination with internal departments, suppliers, and customers, as well as accurate system administration and documentation management.

Conditions:

  • Location: Crescent Bay Business Centre, Azerbaijan
  • Department: General Freight Forwarding (GFF)
  • Working Hours: 09:00–18:00
  • Reporting To: GFF Department Manager

Desired Start date: 15/05/2026

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update company databases and systems daily to ensure accuracy and prevent overdue or missing items.
  • Monitor transported and delivered materials to ensure timeliness, compliance, and legality.
  • Create and manage shipment files for various transport modes within the company system.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to support timely order fulfilment.
  • Ensure all relevant shipping, operational, and commercial documents are uploaded and maintained electronically.
  • Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to provide shipment updates and respond to inquiries.
  • Keep company systems, SharePoint, and OneDrive fully updated and accurate at all times.
  • Track and monitor order status, providing clear and timely updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure shipment files are handed over for cost charging and invoicing in a timely manner.
  • Maintain precise and timely completion of all records within the company system.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, International Relations/Affairs, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to quickly learn new systems and software.
  • High proficiency in English, Azerbaijani (knowledge of Russian and Turkish is an advantage).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
  • Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to identify issues and propose timely solutions.
  • Basic mathematical skills for invoicing support, budgeting awareness, and cost calculations.
  • Proactive, self‑motivated, and willing to take initiative.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
