Department: Underwriting and Reinsurance Department
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and analyze insurance risks for various product lines (property, casualty, etc.)
- Develop and apply underwriting guidelines and pricing strategies
- Prepare risk assessments and underwriting reports
- Support the structuring and placement of reinsurance treaties (facultative and treaty)
- Liaise with reinsurers, brokers, and internal teams for reinsurance arrangements
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to product development and improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in underwriting or reinsurance
- Knowledge of insurance products, underwriting principles, and reinsurance structures
- Excellent analytical and risk assessment skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Russian is a positive factor, but not obligatory
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and a strong team player
