Position Overview: The Hotel Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting the sales team in driving revenue through managing and coordinating sales activities. This role involves handling customer inquiries, preparing sales proposals, coordinating events, and maintaining customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support:
- Assist the sales team in generating leads, managing accounts, and closing sales.
- Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements and ensure customer satisfaction.
Event Coordination:
- Organize and coordinate events, meetings, and group bookings.
- Communicate with various departments (e.g., catering, operations) to ensure seamless event execution.
- Manage event logistics, including room setups, and catering.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues.
Administrative Tasks:
- Manage sales reports, data entry, and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and transactions.
- Assist in preparing sales forecasts and budgets.
Market Research:
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve sales strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in hotel sales or hospitality industry is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and OPERA PMS.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, if necessary.
