Moore Azerbaijan, an independent member of the global network of auditing and consulting firms Moore Global Network Limited, announces a vacancy for the position of Experienced Accountant

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline;
• Minimum of 3+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience;
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); 
• Advanced practical working knowledge of 1C software;
• Fluency in Azerbaijani, English and Russian (both written and verbal); 
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams;
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to dynamic environments, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines under minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Calculate tax liabilities and prepare/submit statutory tax declarations (Corporate Profit Tax, VAT, Simplified Tax, and Excise Tax);
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to the State Social Protection Fund (SSPF), the State Statistical Committee, and relevant government authorities;
• Record and maintain daily primary transactions in the 1C software (sales invoices, vendor purchases, bank transactions, and ledger entries);
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), conduct counterparty reconciliations, and resolve balance discrepancies promptly;
• Execute daily online banking operations, including domestic and foreign currency transfers, payroll card issuance, vendor payments, and state budget remittances.
