Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement QHSE policies, procedures, and standards that align with regulatory requirements and company objectives. Ensure these policies are understood and followed across the organization.
• Keep updated with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards for quality, health, safety, and environmental practices.
• Ensure that the ISO Standards (ISO 9001: 2015. 45001: 2018, 14001:2015, 17025:2020) requirements has been covered accordingly and documented information is available based on ISO requirements. 
• Prepare the Audit Plan based on the company functions and perform regular Audits. Participate internal and external Audits.
• Ensure that the Raised NCRs, OFIs are recorded and completed timely basis and evaluation of effectiveness is performed.
• Identify potential risks related to quality, health, safety, and environment.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, and determine mitigation measures to reduce or eliminate risks.
• Organize and conduct training sessions for employees on QHSE policies, safe working practices, emergency procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform periodic inspection on workplace and recording the inspections and ensure that raised actions are understood.
• Promote a culture of safety and quality across the organization.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses to determine root causes.
• Prepare incident reports and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Lead or support continuous improvement projects to enhance QHSE performance, such as implementing new safety measures or quality standards.
• Identify and implement best practices and process improvements.
• Monitor QHSE performance through data collection, key performance indicators (KPIs), and audits.
• Prepare regular reports for management on QHSE metrics, achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
• Ensure that suppliers and contractors comply with QHSE standards by conducting audits and evaluations.
• Work closely with procurement to assess and select vendors based on quality and safety records.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures, including fire drills, evacuation plans, and environmental spill responses.
• Train employees on emergency protocols and ensure readiness for any potential incidents.
• Oversee waste management, pollution control, and other environmental initiatives.
• Implement sustainable practices to minimize the organization’s environmental impact.
• Responsible for complying with the requirements of the QA and HSE Management System through working in accordance with all relevant, Procedures, Working Instructions, Workplace Precautions and controls mentioned in the Risk Assessments.
• Understanding and being familiar with the QA Policy and HSE Policies.
• Complying with the requirements of the company or client QA and HSE Management System, policies, standards and procedures, not taking shortcuts.
• Ensure appropriate resources are available to main IMS accordingly.
• Attending and participating in HSEQ Meetings and Training sessions.
• Challenging unsafe acts and conditions which could affect personal safety or well-being.
• Intervening and not tolerating unsafe acts by others regardless of status.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience on Quality assurance and Health & Safety & Environment;
• Awareness of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 17025 standard requirements and Audit Certificate;
• Lead Audit Certificate
• NEBOSH Or equivalent Certificate  
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Power point);
• Azerbaijani, English (Russian is also preferable);
• Strong communication skills;
• Strong presentation and training delivery skills.

Additional Information:

• The base salary will be determined according to the knowledge and skills of the candidate after the interview
• Work schedule: 5 days per week
