Senior Structural Analysis Engineer

  • Deadline 19 Noyabr 2026

Key Responsibilities

  • Sizing: Perform preliminary structural sizing and develop the structural layout (spar, rib, and frame architecture) of airframe components.
  • Stress Analysis: Perform hand calculations and finite element analysis to verify strength, stiffness, stability and safety margins in metals and composites.
  • Load Cases: Develop and apply flight, ground, and handling load cases to structural models.
  • Fatigue & Damage Tolerance: Assess fatigue life and damage tolerance for critical structural components.
  • Verification & Validation: Perform verification and validation of Finite Element Models including Global and Local Modelling.
  • Structural Testing: Establish procedures to test and validate FEM assumptions through testing, data acquisition.
  • Material Characterization: Support material characterization of composites and metals as per ASTM standards.
  • Data Correlation and Updation: Analyze the data acquired through testing and validate assumptions and update FE models.
  • Reporting: Prepare structural substantiation reports supporting design reviews and airworthiness certification.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with design engineers to resolve structural findings and recommend design changes.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Structural, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering experience in UAV/aircraft airframe development across the full product lifecycle.
  • Software: Proficiency in MSC Nastran/Patran/Apex, ANSYS Mechanical, and CAD tools (CATIA, SolidWorks).
  • Core Knowledge: Strong grounding in solid mechanics, statics, dynamics, mechanics of materials (composite laminate and metals), composite FE analyses, and fatigue/damage tolerance methods. Solid understanding of how FE translates to actual product, especially in composite FRPs.
  • Sizing: Perform preliminary structural sizing and develop the structural layout (spar, rib, and frame architecture) of airframe components.
  • Standards: Familiarity with structural substantiation practices and relevant airworthiness/certification requirements.
  • Testing: Established experience of structural testing, validation and model updations.
  • Problem Solving: Rigorous analytical approach with clear technical reporting in English
