Location: Baku/Head office
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation
- Draft new and improving existing project management office policies and processes
- Develop comprehensive project management plans that outline deliverables, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements for successful project execution
- Design and implement project management methodologies and best practices to ensure a consistent approach across projects
- Assist in the allocation and management of resources to ensure transformation team is equipped to achieve its goals
- Prepare and present project status reports to keep stakeholders informed about progress, risks, and issues
- Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and work with transformation team to proactively address challenges
- Conduct training and ongoing support to transformation team in project management principles, tools, and processes if necessary
- Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment of project objectives and expectations
- Overview key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate project success and improve project management processes
- Support the change management initiatives by assessing the impact of modifications and communicating them to stakeholders
- Equip both managers and change champions with tools, resources, and materials necessary to lead their teams effectively through change
- Create forums for collaboration among change champions and managers, providing ongoing support through regular check-ins
- Include managers in key decisions related to the transformation to enhance their buy-in and ownership of the process
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Management, Project Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Master's Degree (Optional) in Project Management, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field can be advantageous and may improve career prospects.
- Typically, 5-7 years of experience in project management, specifically industry project management, with at least 3–4 years in a leadership roleStrong analytical and reporting skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with the specific industry (agriculture, manufacturing, etc.) is preferred
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, or JIRA) and tools for data analysis and reporting
