Requirements for candidates:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations; experience in the restaurant, hospitality, or food & beverage industry is preferred.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Good understanding of inventory management and procurement best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in Azerbaijani and Russian is required; English language skills will be considered an advantage.
Job responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for food, beverages, cleaning supplies, equipment, and other restaurant operational needs.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best quality, pricing, and service terms.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse, kitchen, and operations teams to ensure timely replenishment.
- Analyze purchasing trends and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure accurate documentation of procurement activities.
- Track deliveries and resolve any issues related to product quality, quantity, or delivery timelines.
- Conduct regular market research to identify new suppliers, products, and industry trends.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, food safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Prepare procurement reports, supplier performance evaluations, and cost analysis for management.
- Collaborate with finance and operations departments to support budgeting and cost-control initiatives.
- Manage supplier contracts and ensure adherence to agreed terms and conditions.
