Job Purpose

• To supervise production works during well drilling process; to inform Chief geologist about any complications and to make efforts to find solution to resolve these complications.

Key Responsibilities

• To control drilling parameters, azimuth, inclination and zenith angle in the design documentation during the drilling process; to control running in of technical casing in the target depth, their effective cementing, and timely implementation of logging works;
• To be informed about all works going on at the site; to respond to all questions given to him/her; to assist and supervise conduction of geological, geophysical, technical & technological works; to work with documentation;
• Collection of core and cutting edge samples taken during the drilling process, initial examination, preparation (packing) and sending to the office;
• To control installation of rapper during well completion, perforation, accuracy of interval measurement, compliance with safety rules
• To supervise the works in compliance with “Safety rules for implementation of works in the oil & gas industry”; to make efforts to eliminate shortages;
• To give recommendation on the protection of environment and subsurface reserves and to make efforts to the implementation of actions;
• To work constantly on self-improvement; to increase knowledge; to make efforts to improve computer skills.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (in a relevant field, if applicable)
• 2 years of experience in a relevant field and position
• Additional relevant experience with SAP software and Microsoft project management software are desirable
• Technological literacy, including MS Office, Zoom, SAP etc
• English language skills are preferred
