About the Role

As the CoE QA Leader, you will be responsible for defining and implementing QA best practices, processes, and automation strategies across the company. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our mobile applications and websites, setting up test automation frameworks, and leading a team of QA engineers.

Key Responsibilities

QA Center of Excellence Development

• Establish and lead the QA Center of Excellence (CoE) to standardize quality processes across teams.
• Define QA strategy, best practices  for testing at Pasha Insurance.
• Implement testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies to drive efficiency and scalability.
• Ensure integration of QA processes within Agile and DevOps workflows.
• Establish KPIs and reporting mechanisms to track QA effectiveness.

Test Automation & Execution

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications and websites.
• Select and implement test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress).
• Ensure continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) testing is in place.
• Utilize JIRA and Adaptavist Test Management for JIRA (TM4J) for test planning, execution, and defect tracking.
• Conduct manual and exploratory testing when necessary.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Build and expand the QA team by hiring skilled QA engineers and automation testers.
• Foster a culture of quality and accountability within development teams.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to align testing efforts with company objectives.

Requirements

Must-Have

• Proven experience in QA leadership or similar senior QA roles.
• Expertise in QA strategy development and test automation for web and mobile applications.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test integration.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
• Solid understanding of Agile development, DevOps, and software testing life cycles.
• Excellent team management and leadership skills.

Nice-to-Have

• Knowledge of Adaptavist Test Management (TM4J).
• Knowledge of Flutter test packages.
• Experience with performance, security, and accessibility testing.
• Familiarity with cloud testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
• Knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
