Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide HR advisory and support services to designated business units, including advice and guidance on HR policies and recommendations.
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provide day-to-day coaching to leaders of designated business functions including policy interpretation and application, performance management and employee relations issues.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations if needed.
- Support and drive organizational change to foster growth and adaptability and drive cultural roadmaps.
- Develop and drive strategies to attract, develop, engage, and retain strong and diverse talent, with an eye for longer-term growth and stability.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Outstanding verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, high degree of attention to detail and comfort working with ambiguity.
- Ability to manage multiple, complex issues and prioritize projects.
- Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills regularly to identify issues and trends, develop solutions and/or recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise strong judgment in sensitive situations.
- General knowledge in the IT industry is preferable.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Power Point (SAP preferable).
Education and Experience:
- University degree in Management, Economics, HRM or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as an HR generalist having expertise in especially talent acquisition, performance management, and employee relations ideally.
- Experience in a high volume, fast paced and customer focused environment (preferably with experience in banking / financial institutions and IT related companies).
- Excellent knowledge of Azerbaijani and English, Russian.
- HR certifications (SHRM, CIPD, HRCI etc.) will be considered an advantage.
