Job Summary:

As the Product Owner in the Product and Sales teams at our Digital and Retail Business Tribe, you will lead initiatives to increase revenue, grow our market penetration while ensuring our product offerings are closely aligned with customer needs and business objectives. This strategic role requires a deep understanding in business thinking and a customer-centric approach to drive product development, market entry, and proactive sales strategies in a competitive landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead product and sales initiatives focused on increasing product penetration and expanding market share.
  • Establish new sales channels and increase the efficiency of current channels.
  • Explore new partnership opportunities 
  • Boost sales through efficient lead management tactics and incentive models.
  • Collaborate with market research teams to gather insights on customer demands, market trends, and regulatory requirements specific to the insurance industry.
  • Develop and prioritize the product backlog to focus on initiatives that deliver the most business value and alignment with our strategic goals.
  • Articulate product visions and roadmaps clearly to stakeholders, ensuring alignment between technical teams and business objectives.
  • Work closely with marketing and sales departments to ensure that product offerings are supported by effective marketing strategies and sales enablement tools.
  • Monitor competitive activities and devise strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Facilitate Agile project management processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Utilize data analytics to measure product performance and make informed decisions that enhance customer satisfaction and business returns.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with a proven track record in product or sales management.
  • General knowledge in Agile methodologies with ability to adapt and implement Agile practices to maximize team performance.
  • Leadership and communication skills, capable of motivating diverse teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Proficiency in using product management tools and data analytics platforms to drive strategy and decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically to deliver on complex projects within timeline and budget constraints.
  • Innovative and proactive approach, with a focus on continuous improvement and customer engagement.
  • Ability to utilize data to identify areas of improvement and implement data-driven changes. Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach to finding solutions.
  • Proficiency & hands-on experience in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
