Role Synopsis: Main purpose of this position is to make sure that company’s processes and document management are correct and efficient both legally and methodologically from the company’s governance perspectives.
Key Accountabilities:
- Conduct general exercise over Company’s business to understand its business and particularities.
- Draft and prepare corporate governance framework, policies, procedures and apply necessary methodology where required.
- Develop, implement and manage document control systems.
- Ensure proper classification, organization, management and storage (including archive) of documents, both physical and digital and preparing necessary documents
- Monitor document lifecycle to ensure timely updates, revisions and approvals
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
- Serve as secretary during board and committee meetings
- Perform manager’s tasks with high level of knowledge and skills
Desired background:
- Bachelor's degree in Law or Corporate Governance; a Master's degree in a relevant field is considered an advantage.
- Proficiency in Azerbaijani and English.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate governance, with a solid understanding of the real estate business.
- Previous experience in a regulated industry is preferred.
