Description
- Perform document control activities for assigned construction projects in compliance with company procedures and project requirements.
- Establish, organize, and maintain hard copy and electronic filing systems for project documentation in accordance with approved filing structures.
- Organize, classify, register, and file project documents including drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, correspondence, and technical documentation.
- Assist in scanning, indexing, organizing, and archiving project records and documentation.
- Process and control incoming and outgoing submittals, ensuring accurate registration and timely updates in the document control system.
- Maintain updated submittal logs and monitor document status, revisions, approvals, and overdue items.
- Upload and transmit project documentation through SharePoint or other designated electronic document management systems.
- Receive, register, distribute, and track drawings, plans, technical specifications, and related revisions.
- Ensure controlled and timely distribution of approved documents to project teams, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Maintain accurate electronic repositories with proper document naming, indexing, and version control.
- Support project teams with document control activities related to RFIs, submittals, drawings, reports, and project correspondence.
- Ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and integrity of all project records and documentation.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
Specific areas of expertise:
- Document control systems and filing structures; submittals, RFIs, drawings, and technical documentation; construction project documentation standards; SharePoint and electronic document management systems.
Work experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in document control roles, preferably within construction or engineering projects.
Language and computer programs knowledge (Microsoft Office):
- Good command of MS Office applications.
- Knowledge of Aconex and electronic document management systems is preferred.
- Fluent in Azerbaijani; Proficiency in English.
