Description

• Execute drywall and gypsum board works in accordance with site instructions.
• Install metal framing, gypsum boards, partitions, suspended ceilings, bulkheads, shafts, wall linings, and other drywall systems.
• Ensure correct setting-out, alignment, levels, dimensions, and finishing of drywall structures.
• Carry out cutting, fixing, jointing, taping, plastering, and preparation of drywall surfaces for final finishes.
• Ensure proper installation of insulation, acoustic materials, vapour barriers, and other components incorporated into drywall systems where required.
• Coordinate daily activities with the Fit-Out Supervisor / Fit-Out Engineer and other trades to ensure smooth execution of works.
• Check materials and tools before starting work and ensure their proper and efficient use.
• Identify defects, dimensional discrepancies, or technical issues during execution and report them to the responsible supervisor.
• Rectify defects and complete snagging works in accordance with quality requirements and supervisor instructions.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and properly handle and store materials and tools.
• Follow all HSE requirements, safe working practices, and company/site regulations.

Requirements

Specific areas of expertise:

• Drywall and gypsum board installation, metal framing, suspended ceilings, partitions, wall linings, jointing, finishing, and interior fit-out works.

Work experience:

• Minimum 2 years of practical experience in drywall, gypsum board, and interior finishing works.
