Description
- Monitor and inspect all electrical installation activities on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
- Implement and follow the approved Quality Control Plan, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and project-specific quality procedures for electrical works.
- Conduct inspections for electrical installations, materials, and equipment at various stages of construction and record inspection results.
- Coordinate with Electrical Site Engineers, foremen, and subcontractors to address quality issues and non-conformities.
- Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when required and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure all electrical materials and equipment delivered to site comply with approved submittals and specifications.
- Witness testing, inspection, and commissioning activities for electrical systems and verify compliance with standards.
- Maintain proper quality records, inspection reports, test results, and handover documentation.
- Assist in preparation of as-built documentation, test certificates, and final handover dossiers.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Specific areas of expertise:
- Electrical quality control, inspections, testing and commissioning, and QA/QC documentation.
Work experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in electrical quality control roles on construction projects.
Language and computer programs knowledge (Microsoft Office):
- Fluent in Azerbaijani; Intermediate English
- Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD;
Special Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and quality compliance
- Good knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and testing procedures
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with site teams
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Ability to work under site conditions and meet deadlines
