Role Synopsis:

The HSE Training Coordinator is responsible for organizing and conducting site induction training for new employees, identifying training needs, and preparing an annual training plan. The role involves regularly updating training materials, assessing training effectiveness, ensuring compliance with local legislation, and maintaining detailed records of training activities. Additionally, the coordinator manages HSE training for staff, subcontractors, and visitors, while monitoring amendments in relevant legislation and ensuring the continuous improvement of training programs.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Conduct site induction training for all new employees and identify training needs.
  • Prepare an annual training plan and training program calendar.
  • Regularly update training materials and improve new training materials.
  • Arrange and conducting unscheduled training according to the calendar
  • Checking the effectiveness of the training
  • Conducting regular briefings in structural units, registration in local legislation journals.
  • Record weekly and monthly training over the training matrix and report to the head of department 
  • Planning and conducting sanitary-hygienic training
  • Regularly prepare and submit reports directly to the supervisor on training activities
  • Ensuring that the training meets the requirements of local legislation and regularly inspect them
  • Assess training needs and develop strategic implementation and plans accordingly.
  • Assess the training quality after the training and arrange the signing of the necessary documents
  • Verification and registration of certificates of training participants and employees in accordance with their professions
  • Monitoring amendments in HSE training legislation and compliance with requirements for changes
  • Organizing and conducting HSE training for visitors
  • Keeping notes of pre-work safety trainings and updating training topics
  • Conduct general and specific HSE training for staff and subcontractors
  • Archiving HSE Training documentation

Desired background:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Evidence of training and certifications in related field;
  • Minimum 5-year experience as HSE trainer, preferably in Construction Industry;

Any other specific requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge in various HSE Topics;
  • Computer knowledge, specifically PowerPoint presentations;
  • Proficient in Azerbaijani & English languages
