Description
- Supervise and monitor mechanical works on site in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule
- Ensure correct installation of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems
- Coordinate daily mechanical activities with design, fit-out, civil, electrical, and other MEP disciplines
- Review and follow approved shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals
- Monitor workmanship quality and report non-conformities
- Support preparation of daily and weekly site reports related to mechanical works
- Assist in inspections, testing, and commissioning activities
- Respond to site RFIs and provide technical clarifications under supervision
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and safe work practices
- Coordinate with subcontractors and foremen for execution of assigned works
- Support snagging, defect rectification, and handover activities
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Specific areas of expertise:
- Site execution of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems; Interpretation of mechanical drawings and specifications
Work experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in site-based mechanical engineering roles; Construction project experience is required
Language and computer programs knowledge (Microsoft Office):
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office
- Fluent in Azerbaijani; English required
