Responsibilities:
- Promote a strong safety culture by explaining the importance of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations to employees and ensuring full compliance with company policies and procedures;
- Develop, implement, and regularly update the company’s internal HSE policies, guidelines, and documentation;
- Deliver OHS induction training to new employees and ensure proper documentation and sign-off in training records;
- Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, perform root cause analyses, and implement preventive and corrective measures to avoid recurrence;
- Monitor the operation and maintenance of automatic fire protection and alarm systems, ensuring their full functionality;
- Oversee and coordinate sanitation and disinfection processes across company premises;
- Prepare and submit regular HSE performance reports to management, ensuring all safety metrics are accurately tracked and analyzed;
- Ensure adherence to labor legislation, workplace discipline, and company internal regulations;
- Execute other HSE-related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Sciences, or a related field;
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE);
- Solid understanding of occupational health and safety regulations, as well as international standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001);
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail;
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and decision-making abilities;
- Fluency in Azerbaijani (both written and verbal); proficiency in Russian and English is considered an asset;
- Proficient user of MS Office applications.
