Job Responsibilities:
- Perform disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of various valve types (ball, gate, globe, butterfly, plug, control valves, relief/safety valves).
- Replace internal components such as seals, seats, springs, stems, and diaphragms.
- Conduct lapping, polishing, and refinishing of valve surfaces.
- Ensure proper torquing, sealing, and pressure integrity after repair.
- Conduct functional testing using hydraulic or pneumatic test benches.
- Calibrate control valves, actuators, positioners, and associated instruments.
- Perform leak tests, hydrostatic tests, and operational checks.
- Maintain accurate test records and certification documents.
- Diagnose valve issues such as leakage, sticking, vibration, poor control response, or actuator failure.
- Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Provide technical support during critical operations and shutdowns.
- Complete work orders, service reports, valve inspection forms, and certification logs.
- Ensure documentation meets industry and client requirements.
- Maintain valve history records for future reference.
Job Requirements:
- Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in valve maintenance or valve workshop operations.
- Strong knowledge of industrial valves and actuators (pneumatic, hydraulic, electric).
- Ability to read technical drawings, P&IDs, and specifications.
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
- Experience with valve test benches and calibration tools.
- Good communication and reporting abilities.
- Good knowledge of Azerbaijan language.
- Ability to communication effectively in English is preferable (written & spoken);
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
