Working Pattern: Fixed Term Employee Contract/ Full Time
As the Lead Planning Engineer, you will:
- Prepare and maintain Company project plan / schedule and interface with / input to Client project plan;
- Understand and positively react to PD&MS needs in an expedient and proactive manner within the planning function;
- Deliver department project deliverables in accordance with agreed schedules and priorities;
- Undertake the development and improvement of Planning systems, tools and processes;
- Support the periodic review of company Planning procedures and policy;
- Attend kick off meetings and gather data to determine schedule constraints;
- Establish set project baselines and obtain agreement from all stakeholders;
- Liaise and interface with Client Representatives on issues of project planning;
- Carry out data retrieval and review pursuant to project planning status;
- Undertake general project related activities as required;
- Attend and support Planning Risk Reviews as required;
- Comply with Corporate Planning standards;
- Communicate potential project plan / schedule risk to PRP;
- Prepare, update and issue project plans;
- Impart up to date information on project planning and control principles;
- Provide planning support in preparation / approval of tenders;
- Adhere to the company integrated management system.

About You
Experience and Competencies Required:
- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline;
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Planning within the Oil & Gas industry;
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Lead Planning Engineer role;
- Proven experience managing a portfolio of projects valued at approximately $20m per annum;
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6;
- Demonstrated experience managing, mentoring, and developing Planning Engineers;
- Experience working for an Engineering Contractor on offshore brownfield modification projects.
