Working Pattern: Employee Fixed Term Contract / Full Time

Please note that this role is open for Azerbaijani nationals only!

As a Project Delivery Manager, you will:

• Build effective relationships internally and externally; manage the relationship between the project team and client to ensure effective management of the scope, such that all projects are completed effectively strictly in accordance with the requirements of the contract as a minimum and generate positive feedback 
• Understand and positively react to Client needs in an expedient and proactive manner 
• Oversee all Client and Vendor interfaces to ensure seamless project execution is achieved, managing both Company inputs and client expectations effectively whilst preserving the reputation and interests of Company at all times 
• Guide, support and oversee the preparation and challenge of all project cost estimates and approval of same, with effective management to ensure project budgets are met 
• Ensure robust technical and commercial change control mechanisms / procedures are in place and are being adhered to diligently 
• Establish and implement project meetings whether internally or externally at Client premises and ensure their frequency and repetition 
• Oversee and approval of all project budgets expenditure and revenues and for monitoring of same at a meaningful frequency 
• Ensure project related Company sales are maximised and up to date with all potential delays mitigated 
• Ensure Appraise, Select, Define, Onshore and Offshore Execute and Close-out Phases, or parts thereof, of all projects are driven and delivered safely in line with, or ahead of expectations 
• Ensure all projects are effectively completed strictly in accordance with the requirements of the contract as a minimum, and that adequate resources Group wide are in place to meet those requirements 
• Establishing and setting clear goals and priorities for all projects
• Proactively identify potential issues / conflicts and timely resolution of same
• Convene and chair periodic project meetings and project reviews with clear and concise actions agreed and executed
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting and planning
• Provide operational input to Senior Management Review meetings
• Input to, operational personnel recruitment, training and resource allocation, ensuring the right people are in the right positions
• Ensure adherence to the formal contract in place
• Provide direction and support to project personnel to achieve or exceed targets and KPls
• Identify personnel shortfalls and submit proposals to Country Manager for solutions such as training, coaching or other measures
• Train and develop Project Engineers ensuring professional development is maintained and identified competency requirements are undertaken in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in an Engineering or Project Management discipline
• Masters degree in relevant discipline
• Membership of a recognised professional body
• Project Management Training – PMI or APM accredited
• Understanding of interfaces between various engineering disciplines
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of relevant oil & gas industry codes and standards
• Significant, demonstrable experience in an offshore industry project delivery role including construction activities through to close-out
• In depth understanding of effective project delivery and campaign execution planning
• Significant, demonstrable experience in anticipating and resolving problems and contingency planning capabilities
• Financial and contractual awareness coupled with sound commercial judgement
• Significant demonstrable experience in a similar position
• Experience in managing and developing others
• Competent in the use of MS Office applications
• Excellent written and spoken Azerbaijani and English
