Working Pattern: Employee Fixed Term / Full Time 

As the QA/QC Inspector, you will: 

  • Conduct Vendor QC inspections, site audits and site visits both onshore and offshore (if required);
  • Check and approve equipment and fabrication packs / data dossiers;
  • Assist and support QA in the QC Inspections (i.e. SIR’s, defects register, punch list sign-off etc.);
  • Monitor and measure vendor quality performance, conduct analysis and report trends;
  • Attend inspections as per the approved ITP, dependent on intervention points, and prepare inspection reports;
  • Compile and issue QA/QC reports;
  • Liaise with Procurement and Materials Department to ascertain inspection schedules;
  • Assist with the development, management and continues improvement of the QC system in alignment with management system;
  • Attend and contribute to quality meetings;
  • Ensure professional development is maintained and identified competency requirements are completed in a timely manner;
  • Demonstrate and promote PD&MS values and lead by example.

About You

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role;
  • CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector or equivalent (IWE, ASNT L2, API650) (mandatory);
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and maintaining environmental, quality assurance and quality control systems;
  • Good understanding of Codes and standards requirements, typically ASME, AWS, BS EN;
  • Demonstrable exposure to and understanding of NDT techniques and processes;
  • Good understanding of the company-held certification standards (e.g., ISO);
  • Demonstrable experience indelivering safe operations in the work environment;
  • Understanding of purchase order requirements;
  • Demonstrable experience in conducting Audits as a technical expert;
  • Competent in the use of MS Office applications;
  • MIST;
  •  Good written and spoken English (strong pre-intermediate level or higher).
