The candidate should have a minimum requirement as for the following tasks and competency:
Basic Function:
- To Supervise and also inspect all ‘in-house’ manufactured and externally purchased components.
- To ensure product quality is maintained to a high quality.
Key Tasks:
- To physically inspect all components using various measuring equipment to ensure all comply with drawings and technical specifications.
- Report findings and maintain records.
- Report any errors and instigate remedial procedures.
- Perform Calibration of all in-house measuring equipment and maintain records.
- Perform duties within set company procedures and criteria.
- Assist with closure of Machine Shop documentation as required.
- Assist with the inspection of raw materials and purchased products for compliance with company requirements
- Perform QC related duties including internal training others in the use of QC equipment and procedures
- Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
- Understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies
- Perform various other duties assigned by Manager within the physical constraints of the job.
- Perform welding inspection and NDT inspection as per the approved NDT procedures.
- Supervises QA/QC Inspectors as and when require.
- Premium Connections – Reporting of Royalties and Gauge rentals.
- Helps in all audits including external and customer audits.
Competency:
- High School/ College or equivalent
- Technical Vocational Training or Diploma
- 5 Years QA/QC Inspection in Mechanical or Engineering Discipline
- Computer literature in MS Office
- CSWIP (Welds) and ASNT Level II certification (MPI and LPI)
- Excellent communication skills, hard working, Time & Stress Management Skills
- Inspection of API / Premium connection
- Inspection of BHA and well head equipment
- Calibration of measuring equipment, Conversant with receiving, in-process and final inspection.
