Responsibilities:
Ensure that company QHSE policies, procedures and controls are always adhered to. Establish, monitor and supervise proper Emergency Response Plans for company activities.
- Develop, manage and improve company QHSE objectives, strategies, plans and performance in company activities and projects safely, on time, within budget and in accordance with regulations and standards.
- Oversee all department activities and serve as the primary point of contact for communicating all customer-specific requirements, manuals, and industry standards to the organization.
- Ensure that company HSE and Quality policies, procedures, and controls are consistently adhered to across all operations.
- Establish, monitor and supervise proper Emergency Response Plans for all company activities.
- Ensure prompt communication to customers in regards to all QA/QC activities and project updates.
- Supervise and provide leadership to both QA/QC and HSE personnel to ensure compliance and high performance.
- Support the Human Resources Department to ensure proper job training and requisite skill sets development for the workforce.
- Review, revise and write Quality and HSE procedures, work instructions, SOPs and forms as needed to ensure compliance to customer and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee, monitor and report QHSE activity and performance to ensure Management Plans are effectively implemented.
- Ensure safety and quality sections of the contract bid documents are complete and evaluate contractor information during the selection process.
- Serve as the point of contact for project coordinators with regards to QHSE plans, processes, agreements and progress updates.
- Reviews the issuance of Tool Approval Confirmations to the customer and all applicable internal personnel.
- Monitor, inspect and audit contractor engineering, construction or installation safety programs, safe work practices and quality standards.
- Oversee the Document Control System to ensure all technical and safety documentation is properly maintained.
- Directs or performs actions to support product containment as required to prevent customer exposure to nonconforming product.
- Recommend courses of action on safety mitigation and quality performance while remaining willing to travel domestically.
- Plan and facilitate training and continuous improvement activities in support of departmental and organizational needs.
- Provide expert safety, health, and quality information to the site team to ensure operational excellence.
Requirements and qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree.
- Experience min 5 years as QA/ QC and HSE in oil and gas industry.
- Good knowledge on local and international QA/ QC and HSE regulations/standards, HSE Management System, ISO .
- Experience in an ISO-9000/2015 and quality environment.
- Ability to conduct risk management and incident investigation & root causes.
- Proficient computer literacy, Ms Office and related HSE software.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (Azerbaijani, English and Russian).
Additional information:
- Working hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00, 5-day working week; extra work time after working hours and weekends if required completed with additional payment.
- The place of work is located at Badamdar Estate, Mikayil Mushfiq street 1, Baku.
