Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and manage time sequences and milestones based on project contractual dates and client expectations.
- Define, document, and update all project activities, ensuring clear understanding and coordination across departments.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, including critical path diagrams, Gantt charts, and other scheduling tools.
- Conduct detailed analysis of the step-by-step sequence of construction events, identifying dependencies, potential delays, and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with site managers and engineering teams to gather accurate data on crew sizes, material requirements, and equipment needs.
- Ensure alignment of planning activities with project goals, safety standards, and company protocols.
- Prepare regular progress reports, highlighting key risks, deviations from the schedule, and recommended corrective actions.
- Use advanced project management software to track and optimize schedules.
- Coordinate closely with procurement, design, and construction teams to integrate timelines and resource planning.
- Provide strategic planning input during project bidding and pre-construction phases.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in project planning or scheduling in the construction industry.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.
