Job responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company’s risk management framework, policies, and standards;
- Provide risk assessments for strategic initiatives, investments, and operational decisions;
- Lead units under his authority to align with corporate objectives;
- Oversee QA/QC processes to ensure compliance with international standards and company’s operational requirements;
- Review and approve quality metrics for ginning factories, oil production, and mechanization services;
- Lead initiatives to document, optimize, and automate workflows across all departments;
- Identify operational, financial, and environmental risks and develop mitigation strategies;
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure company-wide compliance with relevant standards;
- Prepare comprehensive risk reports for senior leadership and the board;
- Establish and maintain robust HSE policies, ensuring workplace safety and environmental sustainability;
- Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective actions;
- Facilitate training programs on risk management, quality standards, and HSE practices;
- Supervise laboratory testing for cotton, oil, and other products to meet quality benchmarks;
- Validate laboratory results and ensure their integration into QA/QC workflows;
Requirements
Education / Training
- Graduate degree in Law, Risk Management, Quality Management, or a related field;
Experience (Field and Management)
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in risk management, quality assurance, or business process management;
- At least 3 years in a senior leadership position managing multiple units or cross-functional teams;
Certificates
- ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 31000, Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP), or equivalent certifications;
Language Skills
- Azerbaijani, English;
Technical Knowledge
- Strong understanding of QA/QC systems, HSE regulations, process optimization tools, and laboratory operations;
- Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and their implementation processes;
Computer Skills
- MS Office, 1C ERP;
Competence and Skills
- Leadership, strategic planning, communication, analytical decision-making, team development;
